Apply to Volunteer with Midwest Honor Flight
NOTICE: This is the VOLUNTEER APPLICATION - VOLUNTEERS STAY IN SIOUX FALLS; Veterans and Guardians will find a separate application online.
VOLUNTEERS ARE ALSO NEEDED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AT FUNDRAISERS, EVENTS, AND FLIGHT PREPARATIONS (CALL CENTERS, MAIL CALL, AND MORE).
Midwest Honor Flight is successful due to the dedicated help provided by volunteers who assist veterans at the beginning and end of their flight day, along with providing valuable assistance between flights. This enables us to accomplish our mission of sending veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in honor of their service and sacrifice to the United States of America during times of conflict. We do not have normal operating hours but do have one employed staff member. Everything else is done by our volunteers - from Guardians to Greeters to Board Members. Our volunteers give of their time in any way they can, at any time they’re able and by any means necessary – a lot of email, calls and texts help facilitate much of our work. If you’re looking to serve those who served their country, we’d love to hear from you. We are excited to receive your application for assisting with our upcoming Missions and events!
